Comparative Profiles of NITAGs: Membership and Structure by Country
National Immunization Technical Advisory Groups (NITAGs) are multidisciplinary bodies of national experts that offer evidence-based recommendations to policymakers and immunization program managers. In 2011, the WHO recommended that all member states establish such advisory bodies. While not all countries use the term "NITAG," globally, most have a comparable structure in place to advise on the country’s immunization priorities. The membership composition of each country’s respective immunization advisory body is outlined below based on official government documents and publicly available sources.
